I worked until 3AM last night. Good for checkbook, bad for zombie sleep cycle.

Life is shrill and uneven. I want to go to bed until it's time for pie and coffee with a new friend or date, I'm not even sure which.

• then there's Elizabeth, a techie and a busker (for the who's-at-home, that's someone who plays music/performs in the subways for money; in E's case, she plays the fiddle)...a warm and crazy person.
